Airship News 2nd Half 1997
Zeppelin NT Prototype Flies!
Thursday, 18 September 1997The new Zeppelin NT07 prototype completed its first flight today. The NT07 is the first rigid airship to fly in over 50 years. The 45 minute flight was completed in the late afternoon and took the ship from its construction site at the Bahnhofhalle to its permanenent home at the Friedrichshaven Airport. A new hangar that will hold two Zeppelins is currently under construction there.
